Blackboard 9.1 update

Change in sponsored/affiliate NetID process

Individuals who need a sponsored or affiliate NetID are no longer required to provide their Social Security number. This change in process reduces Cornell University’s risk related to the exposure of confidential data. RedRover “Secure” retiring – 15 July 2014

On July 15, both Cornell’s Ithaca campus and Weill Cornell Medical College will retire RedRover Secure. This change does not affect RedRover (the unencrypted Cornell Wi-Fi service).
